I feel like the S1 characterization, with the half-assed ideals and self-aware cynicism of people like Jeff, was easily picked apart by the other characters. By the time that environmental arc was introduced in the second episode, the others had seen through her facade, almost to a disturbing degree (even naive Annie

I wonder if Pierce's half-brother will show up.

It seems like they're giving him the "improve Greendale" arc to give his character some direction, since he probably won't be able to prance about the campus and harass Jeff this year without a little ulterior motive.

This is my favorite, favorite, favorite version of Britta. A normal person with some faults (overeager, overly intellectual, rationalizing, poor defense mechanisms) that seems to exist in a world written by T.V. writers, where she almost never has the time or anticipation to respond to others as deftly as she wants

I wish the characters' positions during the firefight were a little clearer, but that might only expose how poorly they thought them through.

10. I think the logistics of using a tank deserve a small (even one sentence) justification. How did they find that much gasoline/oil? How did no one see/hear an approaching tank? Wouldn't it attract an enormous crowd of walkers, given its noise level and slower speed?

I predicted Lily would 'catch on' to the Governor's psychosis, but the way it happened (literally everyone else in the camp going along with him) made his argument that much weaker. The violent redneck going along with the attack? Fine, but that's just one guy. If everyone in this show has been surviving the

He was shot in the hip, right? I think the only silly aspect of that fight was how he was winning for a time. Although you'd think he would try poking the guy's eye…

The Walking Dead: Suddenly Rational Edition

Probably. But earlier, someone said the lake was "dead", and you know The Governor's got an eye for puns.

Nah, he killed Pete over an ideological difference that Pete wasn't even aware of. I don't see the Governor angling to change someone's opinion when he could just kill them.

I assumed he was hesitating to touch the girl with blood all over his hand. But then he got blood all over her hair at the very end of the episode. Most little girls would probably react negatively to something like that.

Anybody catch the Clerks reference? The window Rigby broke at the wing place was covered with a piece of cardboard that said 'Open', much like Dante's makeshift "I assure you, we're open" sign.

Tyrese: Is Sasha okay?
Rick: I don't know. I'm sorry.

Sure; apparently there are large containers full of them, just out in the open. Exposed to the rain, I guess.

Yes. One pea.

I keep assuming Lizzie's near-death experiences are going to 'wake her up' to the reality of her situation, and the show continues to quash those assumptions with little notes of disturbing behavior. I'm beginning to think of her like those creepy ghost twins in The Shining.

No argument here, although the hitchhiker thing was more a case of "sorrowful tone episode, so fuck having greater numbers, like you'll spend the rest of this season complaining about."

It seemed like her "Someone had to do something" excuse was a clear tip-off to her emotional imbalance. Everyone did everything they could, which wasn't very much, but that's the situation they were in.
