From the opening screen to the final battle - epic. Acting was way off in too many ways, but, boy, did it still deliver. Matrix would have been a lot cooler (if possible) if this hadn't come out before. Although my late teen age at the time played an important role on my perception.

Went into it thinking "another dumb remake." Was pleased when they filmmakers understood everyone was thinking that and just said "fuck it, let's have fun!"

People don't agree and I don't give a fuuuuuuck. This movie was a fun live action anime with characters I actually cared about. Plus Matthew Fox as my favorite live action Batman. Kung Fu fights with cars people!!!

So Fox aired the episodes out of order so that the character development and plot seemed Schizophrenic, put long breaks in between episodes and barely put forth any marketing when new episodes actually aired. I'm sure they are shocked it didn't do well.

Millions and millions of people watched and enjoyed it. I doubt that they were devoid of any self-respect.
