Jada: I can be a sexual predator with no consequences but if somebody comments on my hair I get to have my husband commit felony assault on live tv also with no consequences. Grow up.

Chris Rock....on point again! Women DO have power! Will Smith IS a bullying Cuckhold! Most “wokeness” IS unearned victimhood taking up space for real victims! The thing I love most....his daughter in culinary school in PARIS!!!
If a white male actor had slapped Chris Rock, no one would be defending the actor. This is condescending and ridiculous.
Came expecting a depressingly dumb conversation. Wasn’t disappointed. Some highlights:
Spot on. I was thinking the same thing as I read those tone deaf comments. Comedians are taken to task by the audience every time they get on stage after ever single joke. They get a laugh or not, and a bad joke doesn’t deserve an immediate public flogging, because nothing actually deserves that.
I believe there’s truth to the expression “talk shit, get hit”
Really disturbing reading people like Drew Gillis justify assault.
I don’t feel about Will Smith. I feel that performers should not be assaulted on stage.
I love Tarantino’s talky, stagey films as much as the next person, but the cinema of the 70's, which he idolizes, was on its way to killing the entire industry. People queued round the block to see Jaws because there was no expectation in the theater owners that that many people would actually want to see a movie.
That’s not snark, friend, that’s straight up contempt for people who say shit like that. This is a guy who decries the hold super movies have on the industry yet says he loves a military fantasy superhero movie.
There, I’ve described the entire history of
MiddleEarth
I love it when people run with narratives, despite logic and facts indicating otherwise. Chappelle didn’t come out against affordable housing, he came out against a plan that didn’t guarantee it, and looked to be a classic bait and switch.
Xander took Buffy’s choice away at the end of season two by lying to her and telling her that Willow encouraged her to kill Angel. But through the whole series, Xander was the “good guy”.
I don’t care about messing with the continuity, but to then make it actually change nothing at all made this a pointless exercise. It would have made so much more sense if the Master had been the timeless child. And I wish they’d give Jodie more to do than just look slightly annoyed while other people give exposition…
Shazam has been a lady. Hell, he’s been like seven kids at once.
At least the one person he didn’t alienate is Lenny... and she happens to contain what’s left of his dear sweet big sister. I think if anyone could save David from becoming irredeemable, it’s Amy.
I think I disagree with a fundamental premise of the review...that what David does to Syd walks us past an acceptable point. I think that point has been where we were headed all along. The fundamental violation of the type of superpower at the core of the show is that they are transressions of a personal nature,…
