The simplest answer? Space. I want a shop with space. Having room to lay out the parts of an engine without covering every available working space or to strip an interior without tripping over everything on the way to the toolbox would be amazing.

I’m not sure the BMS in a car would necessarily work with whatever cells you want to throw in there. They are often calibrated for specific setups. I suppose you could swap out a whole BMS at the same time, but then it comes down to making sure that would talk with existing OEM computers.
