I’m not sure where I stand on this one.  On the one hand, I think a fair portion of people would just be happy to race as it’s something they enjoy doing.  On the other, I can understand that racing is a huge portion of your life and requires some serious time commitment, so you would likely need some kind of income

I have grown to accept it.  My mother can smell it from a mile away.  My dad and I used to open a diff in the driveway to work on something and she would be inside the house and would ask if we were working on rear ends.  I’ve smelled enough of it by now that I kinda like it.

I guess I’m a little confused why the guy would get a $16,000 car that was only worth $13,000 to begin with, and that was even before interest payments.  $3000+ could get you something on the used market pretty easy.  Do people just really trust dealers that much?  What CAC did was still pretty deplorable and not

Imagine being on the team at GM that gets to design this thing. That seems like it could be a pretty fun job.

The bus drivers could still retain their job of helping disabled people on an autonomous shuttle, though I imagine the salary likely wouldn’t be the same.

True, can’t forget that.

True, we had a 69 Charger for a while that didn’t have tumblers in the ignition when we got it.  The “key” was just a small screwdriver.

That’s basically what I’m doing.  I have it “assembled” in my basement as a fun showpiece.  The large hole in the side of the block and cylinder head might hurt its power potential, but 7 cylinders on a 10,000+ hp car should still be good for something right? lol

by picking their locks and hot-wiring the engine

When given the choice between a fancy car you don’t even want to park under a tree for fear of acorn damage and a beater

So what exactly would an ElioCoin even do? You can’t spend it anywhere. At best you might be able to trade it for another currency that basically means nothing.

but the electronic system would allow for more flexibility.

Baptism by nitro.  The first time I experienced it, it was awful.  Now I walk through the pits and smile and like the smell.  I might have a problem...

This is one thing I say everyone has to experience in person at least once.  You really just can’t describe it.  You have to feel it yourself to really understand it.  My family has gone to the Nationals near us for something like 10 years running now.  I collect a new broken piece of a top fuel car every year.  I’ve

I don’t really like winding engines out for everyday driving.  Feels like you’re just needlessly causing more wear than necessary.  My engines also all redline around 6k, so going over 3000 only happens when I want to really get somewhere.

The FF is pretty much all I had in my head when reading about this.  4 wheel drive and everything already there.

That actually sounds pretty sweet, though still sounds an awful lot like stuff I’ve already heard of.  Doesn’t Range Rover have variable ride height on their stuff and likely magnetorheological dampers?

Right, I can keep my engine above 3000 rpm all the time too if I want to, but I guess my point was more that it seems highly unlikely most will even see that rpm in daily driving.  Just feels like an odd metric to throw out there from a marketing standpoint.  More like a “what’s the most impressive sounding claim we

The little shock animation looks so much like the Reboot cube.  I still hope in the back of my head that this will be related somehow.  Maybe Hexadecimal and Megabyte will become playable skins or something.

I’m curious what “new innovative suspension” is.  There are an awful lot of suspension designs already out there, so unless they mean new to Ferrari call me skeptical.  A double wishbone suspension isn’t exactly innovative, even if you throw in push or pull rods.
