I guess I thought the Vette had closer to 500 hp stock, but I was thinking more in power and weight figures by my “Vette territory” comment.  That puts it closer than I thought they were, but still seems like the Vette has more performance image and support.

which is available at max from just 3,000 rpm

One of the joys of launching a sports car is getting the initial model out, and then keeping it fresh with regular updates.

The only thing I’ve found with automating bills and such is that it can be a little too convenient and you can miss how much you are actually paying toward them and if you need to make a month-to-month adjustment to your other spending. My electric bill can be less than a $100 to over $250, which is not a huge change,

This is what happens when “work” trucks start costing $60K+.

I’m talking modern XK, like the XK8/R in case it wasn’t more apparent, but I would agree.  They are nice clean cars, and I think I prefer them to the F type.  I saw the two sitting back to back and one dealer and while I really like the F type for what it is, I think it’s a bit too “racer” inspired compared to the

I can see it.  It’s definitely not an “in your face” design, more understated.  I just think it has nice lines and looks clean, while still stylish.

While I agree that I would like to attract that kind of woman as well, I wouldn’t say it’s the norm by any means. Though I got my fiance because of my Viper, so I guess it’s not impossible.

My “100%” was trying to get one of every master materia for a full set of three characters. That basically one means getting two more, but to fully master Knights of the Round two times over takes a while. The fun part is the timer on my PC version of the game is messed up or something and I think it’s only showing 40

I’m partial to the new Jag XK coupes, but they can be a bit divisive.  They are fairly understated as well.  I had a 2000 that I liked the look of more than the refreshed 06 or whenever they did that, but the newer ones started growing on me the more I see them.

I keep waiting for the Alfieri, though I’m more disappointed the more I wait.  It starts out with a V8 in concept car for (basically a shortened GranTurismo), then announces it will be V6 only (heartbreak as I wanted the V8 sound, though may still but it on looks alone), then announced it might be the first fully EV

Eh, I’m not sure could call that good looking in the traditional sense.  It is a pretty car, but more because of the race car aesthetics to me than being something I’d try to impress a date with.

My dad had a 69 Hemi 4 speed road runner back in his early days and sold it to buy something more “grown up”.  He probably wouldn’t mind having it back.  Though what he misses the most was his bronze 68 Superbee with a 383, 4 speed, and bench seat.

I’m a fascist asshole because I think not all police are bad?  I’m not quite sure that’s how it works.

My point is that if you manage each cell you can keep the one in the middle from dying and ruining the pack. If you can control the discharge rate of each cell and manage temperatures around it you keep it from failing to begin with so you don’t have to remove the whole pack.

That’s nice.  Glad to see more OEMs are finally stepping up to the plate with their performance cars.

I’m not sure how impressive they are from a certain standpoint, but I’ve driven my 2004 Viper:

I’d call this more like polo than soccer, though I realize no clubs are involved.  But then VW could be the sponsor.

The last car ad I remember seeing was James Hinchcliffe saying that an Accord was an incredible machine with amazing performance.  This was after talking about driving Indy cars and then getting in an Accord.  I threw up in my mouth a little.
