The Chrysler Pacifica and 200 did a pretty good job with that. However, that apparently doesn’t do much for sales because the majority of the public is mechanically incompetent, and seems to need to show how much more macho they are with their Giant grills and thousands of pointless angles.

I don’t believe you can because a lot of manufacturers replace the transmission torque converter with the electric motor. So, what you have is an engine-electric motor-automatic transmission sandwich. You would have to put a clutch behind the electric motor, which is not always engaged, which would put a lot of moving

To be honest, I’m not convinced that screens in the dash is better than on top of the dash. It is definitely more aesthetically pleasing to see a screen as part of a well thought out, in dash design. However, a Navigation screen should be in the line of sight of the driver, meaning on top of the dashboard. The happy

I agree. I love the Chrysler 300 because it is not overstyled. It’s brash in stature, but understated in appearance inside and out. Also, I hate that Dashboard in the A3. It’s just a mess of angles and dark materials. Where is the art? It seems disorganized. There is no cohesiveness to the design.

I never thought I’d see the day when someone basically Fiero’d a Viper. The panel gaps on that thing look worse than Michael Strahan’s teeth. Someone please allow both cars to regain some dignity by lighting this turd on fire and pushing it off a steep cliff.

So the annual World War II victory parade is delayed or cancelled. That’s a bummer. On the plus side, I have it on good authority that the annual opposition and reporter purge is still on schedule.

I’d prefer that over the 4 Door Wrangler and the Gladiator.

It has the same awkward long cab, short bed issue that plagued the Dakota, and S-10. I can’t understand who the designer was that made the drawing for this, then stepped back and said “yeah, that looks right”

Came here to say this. Was not disappointed to see it was already the top answer. Are you listening Mike Manley/Carlos Tavares?

“You’re Probably going to have to look at a BMW X8 soon.”

I’ll probably need it as a down payment on the massive coronavirus testing and treatment bills.

This raises a serious, if unrelated question. Why has Forza or some other racing game not added a Mukha to it’s lineup?

Don’t forget the starting handle, Vent windows, and glorious AM radio.

these are bleak times if there are only a few manual truck fans left.

I don’t completely agree that the rest of the Dakota was junk, but different experiences yield different results, so they may have been junk in your experiences. I’d take a clean example of the 97-04' models with the 5.2L, 5.9L, or 4.7L and the manual behind it any day. I do agree that all of the “big 3" should have a

Probably better than their usual method...blindfolded

I voted CP for one reason, and one reason alone. I did not see an anti-roll bar. That was the cure for the infamous oversteer issued that plagued the sedans. Otherwise, I’m a sucker for a horizontal speedometer.

My first computer was an Apple IIe. I remember playing Oregon trail on that thing for hours before my father decided to put his boot through the monitor. The CRT was so thick and heavy that I am amazed it didn’t break hit foot on impact. I still have a deep appreciation for the pixelated artwork that went into these

I would like the factory “tune” to be offering the 5.0L V8, teamed with a 5 or 6 speed manual transmission, and mechanically shifted 4wd. These were the things that made me love the similar sized Dodge Dakota. Someone needs to step up to the plate and make this a reality again.

As someone who grew up in Upstate NY, I feel that there is only one car they should buy.
