No lie, I was literally the barefoot pregnant lady last 3-4 months of my pregnancy. I had really high BP and it kept me swollen and miserable. I ended up getting induced early bc it was so bad.

I swelled soooooo bad. My BP kept going up and up my last trimester and I ended up getting induced right when I hit 37 weeks. They almost induced me at 34 weeks bc it was so bad but they got it under control. My feet were so bad that I could only wear men’s slip on moccasins and went to Christmas dinner dressed up but…

TY for the advice. I will definitely do that. It’s at it’s worst in the morning when I wake up and gets better as the day progresses. I still never get rid of the numbness completely in my middle finger though.

Yup. I noticed this in the mirror a few weeks ago. Luckily for me, so far, it has only been the lips. My nose is lumpy enough on its own.

If you can afford it, get yourself a brace and wear it as much as possible (all night, for sure). That and exercises you can google and it will go away on its own. But help it heal, because the longer it is swollen, the harder it is to heal. I am dealing with that myself. The brace (futuro for her) was a great help. I…

My best friends face (and feet/ankles) were swollen with her face pregnancy & then extremely swollen towards the end of her 2nd pregnancy when she was carrying twins. Her lips & bridge of her nose were so much bigger she almost looked like a different person. It’s bloat from so much water retention.

I was 36 weeks with my first when I woke up feeling “funny.” Boom! Bells Palsy, the whole left side of my face was paralyzed. I had to tape my eye shut. Husband tried to make me feel better by saying I looked like a sexy, pregnant pirate (it didn’t help but god bless him for the effort).
