I always buy their (sephora brand) matte foundation in Sable. It so perfect. Also their CC cream (is that redundant lol). For blush I love Tarte Amazonian clay. It stays on for hours. Last visit a couple days ago I got Anastasia eye duo powder and it's amazing, it fills in my brows effortlessly.

I wear dark lipstick year round. To be fair, I am very dark haired and very fair, so we tend to make all dark lipstick look like a pin-up situation, but other than a super formal/conservative event, pretty much any situation in which you would wear a bright red lip, you can wear a dark lip.
