China isn’t stealing EV tech, it’s buying it.

The market is softer and the country is now led by a group of people who would have us all swimming to work in “domestically produced oil” if it wouldn’t kill all of us.
Is that different or worse than the migrant child labor found in some U.S. auto plant supply chain facilities?
Our military budget is 820 billion, so why can’t we spend 15 billion investing in EV infrastructure and push development from U.S. automakers? At this point it seems like a national security issue.
I would be curious how much of their EV tech is stolen EV tech from other automakers
I laugh at how Biden, Trump, U. S. and European auto industry execs think/thought they can somehow slow or contain China’s growth and dominance over automobile markets. At least Japan and Korea have the right ideas and attitude for survival. We’ve entered the consequences stage of unchecked corporate greed/dollar as a…
Is there any more reviled institution in the US than car dealers? It’s a painful, time wasting experience to begin with. They are only good for dealing with recalls. Otherwise, they feel.as if they are entitled to charge you for car repairs as if their mechanics went to medical school. They often add ridiculous things…
There is no problem. A government investing in its future and that of the health and security of its people is the proper operation and job of a government. Somehow, a percentage of humanity residing in the United States feels such actions are unnatural and against what the universe intended.

This is literally the thing that every legacy manufacturer is doing:
But don’t you understand, the goverment doing anything for the good of its citizens is SOCIALISM. And half our country is conditioned to think it is always bad and must be stopped!
Yeah - bird strike or not, that doesn’t explain why the gear weren’t extended. When all else fails, it’s a mechanical release and gravity freefall on the 737. It really doesn’t make sense.
Jeeps are on their way out here. They’ve been replaced by Broncos except in the hicks and chicks demographic.
Car Dealerships: “We don’t want to sell your electric cars!”
The test was rigged. They didn’t even butter the Land Cruiser!
Sweden does it right. Once you're of retirement age, one of your benefits is that the government will pay for taxis, anywhere you need to go. And they pay fairly, so you aren't waiting forever to find a cab. Senior citizens can get where they need to go in a car-centric society, but they don't have to drive. It's…
ND because this is from arguably the worst years for Dodge/Jeep products and this thing is an absolute tin can of crap. The interior and build quality on these things was an insult to their customers - it’s like they had a bet going on how shitty they could make their cars before people would stop buying them.
The engine is tried and true, but the rest of the car isn’t. ND
Yep now they’re saying even the houses that didn’t burn are not safe because of all the chemical from the smoke.
