Absolutely not. I’ve been in Subaru culture long enough to know how this thing was driven, just by looking at the hood scoop. Future rebuild, sooner rather than later - if the ring lands aren’t already shot.

This is the gen where the once charmingly boxy and high-roofed wagon began to morph into yet another anonymous crossover blob. That and a bunch of unlisted mods”? No thanks.

Bro, you ever bro’d so hard you bro’d a bro?

THE BOX SAID IT ADDED 10 HORSEPOWER.

No thanks. If I want a classic Bronco, I’m going with a bullnose.

Yeah, but that TruCoat...

the notion that a law promoting red light cameras could increase highway safety is the stupidest thing I’ve encountered today. By what mechanism does a camera prevent a car from crashing?

Red light cameras are absolutely a cash grab, but not even for the city/state that uses them.  They make a fortune for the company that leases them out.

The Federal Highway Administration suggests narrowing roads”

I have no problem at all with $1000/year if that’s what it really is. Better than a car payment. My concern would be, does the engine or transmission need a rebuild? If so run away

Counterpoint - Red light cameras are a cash grab.  Every fiefdom throughout St. Louis put them in their neighborhoods.  Few were in school zones, but in large intersections where they could cash in.  The real trouble in St. Louis is that cops have given up on traffic citations as they are too hard and too dangerous

Lumber trucks, logging trucks, trucks carrying drill pipe (lots of that in Central Alberta)... I hate being around all of them. They’re one bad decision or bad set of circumstances away from creating multiple impalements.

Popehat is an amazing attorney, good on him for helping the family.

As the owner of a ‘91 300zx i get it but... $8500?? Nostalgia is a hell of a drug getting a passed around.

Did someone blackmail Hyundai to force them to make car designs that fights Multipla’s & Aztek’s for the “Ugly AF” crown?

The lights are a little too much (why are they so big?) and those wheels give me Lincoln vibes, but overall it’s a nice design and a departure from some of their over-styled offerings. I’m even getting some Range Rover vibes in that rear-3/4 shot in that dark green.

Doubling down on the Land Rover styling cues in the Santa Fe and I’m not mad about it. Bring this design language to the Santa Cruz!

KBB says it’s worth $4k at most. A 30 year old, 2WD truck for more than double its actual value? ND.

This one hits me the same way yesterday’s Marquis did: almost too nice for its own good. Kudos to the owner, but whoever buys this will feel bad using it for truck-y things. And is it now, or will it ever be, collectable? ND.
