Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band (featuring Toto’s lead guitarist Steve Lukather sharing lead vocals with Richard Page of Mr. Mister).

Oh yes, I’m sure he meant it. And I’m sure he still thinks of himself as a morally superior and unfairly persecuted person. He’s just the sort of guy who thinks he’s so amazing that all women want to sleep with him, and he only gave them pills to relax them because they were too uptight to give in and enjoy themselves

In an interview with the Dutch magazine Vrij Nederland, Buruma said he felt forced to resign as a “capitulation to social media.” “I have now myself been convicted on Twitter, without any due process,” he added.

Editors don’t exist in a vacuum. I don’t see how insulting your readership helps maintain said readership. Ditto for the writers who signed that statement. “You’re supposed to buy our publication but not have an opinion about it!”

Mkay.

Well said.

This- this so well written and so, so true.

I loved this cover by Low on AV Undercover:

Okay, I’ll admit that the end sounds MUCH better than the beginning, which kinda made my ears bleed. I appreciate their style and technique, but something about the choral precision just felt... blasphemous, somehow, with such a classic jam. I should check out some of their other work, though.

Haha, yes our guests did boogie on/linger a while/Shazam/hang out to chat with the dj after, etc. (For those who haven’t given it a listen yet, it’s an instrumental uptempo New Orleans style brass groove that makes me very, very happy.)

It’s a pretty straight cover, but I like this one:

Challenge accepted...I love this one (but I love the original more)

Ah, I accidentally replied to the main article. Oh well, I’ll post everywhere because I’m grey and nobody will know...

It’s not my favorite cover necessarily, but it makes the boldest artistic choices:

A very tongue in cheek, yet faithful “metal” cover.
