Oh and completely agree about how it doesn’t really make sense that she’s around at all in the comics universe - I was re-reading the main events since Avengers Disassembled/House of M, and it seems like they settled on “well, She forgave herself/is ‘dealing with the pain of being a monster’, therefore story concluded!…

I think it’s absolutely possible that they make her loss of control into maybe a positive story for the need of mental health/power management (hey! Maybe a certain bald, wheelchair-bound professor could help with that?)...

I was very annoyed at the Captain Marvel reaction - buht! What if the exposure to Danvers Gave Rambeau’s mom cancer? That would be an interesting way to use the “Captain Marvel (guy version) Dies from Cancer” from the comics
