Man, call me “Wanda” bc I am Losing My Mind reading these reviews and comments that Wanda is somehow under control/absolutely not - at Least - A villain in all of this.

Didn’t it show Wanda saying "No" or whatever, and then cut back to the agent-beekeeper being gone? I have to re-watch

Really? I think the reviewer got that from the whole “nothing was left except the end of the tether turned into a jump rope and the agent wasn’t shown at all after Wanda’s actions”

I don’t know - that feels like a reach (oh, the person who kidnapped/created a magic town out of trauma Says she’s in control? Then probably Mephisto)

It was So annoying - like, can’t she be smart and Not an asshole? I know that has been the go-to protagonist personality for a million things...I just hate it every time.

Eh... All of these are like that podcast, Punch Up the Jam - “What if the song was like, The Worst possible version of it? Isn’t that Interesting?” No - it isn’t.

Thank you! When I originally clicked on the caption link, it went to the main ‘Premium Bandai’ page (but maybe I clicked on a redirect as it was loading, or something)

Sorry if I missed it, but no link to the header image item (the Kirby eating your Skull pillow)?

Right?

Ah okay - then they should apply the disclaimer to all such projects - problem solved, no?

Well, I disagree with her And I agree with You! So I’m all kinds of turned around

Aren’t there specific disclaimers made for pieces of media “based on a true story/real events”?

Right? He has never made a Good video game movie, or even a “good adaptation” - he just didn’t lose enough money (I’m guessing), and kept getting the 'video game movie’ gigs?

I was hoping for more pushback on the whole, “aren’t they All the Saaaame” false equivalency garbage - I’m going to guess the New Republic doesn’t blow up as many planets out of existence, so you know, there’s That - but then Mayfield’s actions... *Chef’s kiss*!

When I saw the clip, I assumed that he was saying it in response to some kind of expression of doubt/concern that he could like, handle the world of monsters or something. And then yes, said exactly in that dumb-bantery sort of way, And making fun of the old “dirty knees” racist non-joke.

I thought it was a very good representation Of that type of person (like, it’s so accurate, that it seems like it’s not satire?)

Only read the excerpt in the article, but isn’t the joke that the person is arrogant enough to think “citizen’s dismissal" is justifiable? Like, a super-micro "A Modest Proposal"?

That’s the thing - I thought the character was saying it (from the clip I saw), as he’s laughing, to make fun of the stupidity of that old racist rhyme, while being proud of his ethnicity, While trying to take the edge off of being trapped in a world with giant monsters!

Eh, sometimes I Really like his stuff, sometimes I find it “flat” as well

After reading the review, I absolutely didn’t realize this was a documentary - it sounded like a The Thick of It/Veep-styled movie.
