I challenge your conception that America has literally ever had any country’s admiration. Attention? Sure. Admiration? Nah. 

I don’t think that final scene really established the geography very well, but had some impressive ideas. Would have also helped if I knew who they were fighting, but I blame the weird sound engineering on that. Maybe more impactful on a rewatch. 

Tenet was a mess, but there were three action set pieces that were unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Even the (somewhat) more formulaic opening piece was exciting as hell.

I would argue they need more structure and discipline, not less, which (I think) is what Ty offers. I also think Lue is (and will continue to) get a whole lot of mileage and future contracts/$ out of coaching 40 games in a season in which the possible best player of all time scored over 40 ppg in the final two games…

Ty Lue is a great option for when you want the players to coach themselves and would prefer hiring a sick cat or no one at all as a coach, but unfortunately the CBA states that all coaches must either be homo sapiens and have corporeal form.
