Good advice, thank you!

I believe you're correct about that law! Calling first thing tomorrow morning.

Thanks. As I've mentioned elsewhere here, he doesn't seem bothered about it in the least, and I actually feel a little hesitant because I don't want to make him feel like I think there's something "wrong" with him. But I really feel like I need to do something before it gets out of control!

Definitely going to angle for that route. I have to start with the GP for insurance reasons, but from what everyone else has said it seems best to go straight to the dermatologist in this case. I appreciate your replies!

LOL Thanks! It's kind of inaccurate, though, as I confess I am moody far more often than just once per month. Moodymultipletimesdaily just doesn't have the same ring to it, though, you know?

Wipes would probably be a good idea for him....the less work he has to do, the more chance he'll actually do it. Thanks!

Thanks! I'm going to call the doctor first thing tomorrow and go from there.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, I appreciate it. I've gotten a lot of good advice from this thread.

I'm definitely calling the doctor first thing Monday. I definitely appreciate you sharing, and when I say it grosses me out I mean the way that cleaning up poop or puke might gross a mom out: we still have to do it, you know? I have a lot of sympathy for him and I don't want it to get worse.

Yeah, I'll definitely call the doctor on Monday. Even though there's a lot of conflicting advice, at least I have different ideas to try if one thing doesn't work.

That's definitely one of my concerns. On the other hand, this is a boy who grows taller seemingly by the minute and he will wear flooded pants to school even when he has ones that fit until I take the ones that don't fit away. He just seems oblivious to that stuff.

I will definitely ask about it.

Thanks, I will look into that!

Thank you! I'm calling Monday for a dermatologist appointment, but I'll check this stuff out too!

It's pretty much all over but particularly his forehead, temples, and nose areas. He has a little near his mouth. He doesn't really use his phone much, but he does use some big honking headphones with a microphone. (I mentioned elsewhere here, he's a pretty big computer/gaming nerd.) I will definitely find a way to

Or Ray Liotta!

Someone else suggested the same thing. I wouldn't have ever known that. Thanks!

OK but don't you use anything to spread the soap around?? I don't think I'd feel clean with using just my hands.

That's a suggestion I hadn't heard! I'm definitely calling the doctor on Monday. Thanks for replying!

That's what everyone else is saying too, I'll call Monday to get the process started.
