Definitely calling Monday to get the process started for the dermatologist. Others recommended the pillowcase too, or at least putting down a clean towel each night. That's an easy fix we can implement right now.

Definitely calling Monday to get the process started, thanks!
Definitely calling Monday to get the process started, thank you.
Thanks, definitely calling the GP on Monday for a referral to get the process started.
His hair is pretty short, but I'll make sure his bangs don't get too long.
omg blech I can't even look closely at them, let alone pick at them.
There's a plus.
I can definitely do the pillowcase/towel thing.
I can "remind" him. Moms have a special talent for that. ;-)
I meant that more tongue-in-cheek being that he's a gross boy who does not practice good hygiene in general without specific direction. This is a kid who went a week without a washcloth because he forgot to bring a clean one into the shower and when I asked how he'd been washing himself, said "With my hands." o_O
Hopefully it will be simple like that. My poor gross son lol
I'm still going with he doesn't wash very well, because he's a lazybones, and he's 13. But I will definitely look into those suggestions and see what the doctor says.
I've never heard that but I can see how it would make sense. Worth a try, anyway!
I think we'll probably start with the GP since that's a $20 co-pay instead of $40. Not to sound crass, but every little bit helps.
Definitely calling Monday. I mentioned elsewhere, he doesn't act like it bothers him at all, but I don't want it to get to the point where he's getting made fun of or anything.
I'm going to call the family doctor on Monday and see about a referral. (stupid insurance demands one)
Thanks. Yeah, he doesn't act like it bothers him (he's a bit of a stereotypical gamer geek and science nerd) but I don't want it to get to the point that he's getting made fun of or anything.
I'm going to call his gp on Monday and see about a referral. omg a Ferrero Rocher. I'm going to Hell for laughing as hard as I did at that.
Haha Oh I remember when the kids started having full on adult-level poops.
I really should. This cold weather seems to be making the acne he already has worse...not causing new acne, but a couple of the pimples are bleeding. I keep telling him not to pick at them. :-( I'll call the dr Monday.
