I can’t speak for any of the sparsely populated locations, but the ones I’ve been to are always tucked into existing mall areas connected to heavily trafficked roads/highways. Nothing residential is “a little bit down the road”.

Flipside: Part of the training for corrections officers is to engage that friendliness & weed out the inmates that try to sex the staff (or make it up) & report it so the inmate can obtain bargaining leverage that doesn’t exist.

I’m not attacking you personally, but prison life doesn’t occur in a vacuum. If someone is abused in prison, what happens when the abuser is released to society? I understand you’d like the tit-for-tat type of retaliation, but there are errors to this logic.
