I didn’t know what to make of all that draft coverage until Schefter added his 4 cents.

I think the bar music is an important factor. Burp Castle is always naturally quiet, despite the occasional musical accompaniment. But many bars - even bars that are not intended to be “rowdy” - turn up the music so patrons have to shout if they want to talk to their friends. Shushing anyone in that environment is

Asked at this morning’s practice what that cupping does for him, Adams answered, “Yaeehm?”

Don’t forget Denver also drafted Gobert, and traded him to the Jazz.

Yeah, but the Pistons took Luke Kennard. I mean who would want Donovan Mitchell to lead this pathetic franchise when you can get Kennard?

It makes me miserable that a fan base as spoiled and obnoxious as Boston’s gets a basketball coach as consistently brilliant as Brad Stevens. Everything is terrible

What Sully did is an entire different category than what happened here in my opinion.

I’m a casual C’s fan who follows the NBA here but doesn’t really watch games, and so my viewpoint is essentially worthless, but my big takeaway is: Holy shit, Brad Stevens can fucking coach.

I would like to propose a change to this law: if you are driving the roads and you rear-end a fellow driver, whether because they’re being cautious or because they’re too slow or for any other reason (daydreaming?), the other driver is at fault.

What if the draft lottery, but instead of weighting the teams by how bad they are, you don’t weight them at all, and instead of drawing for only the first 3 picks, you draw for all 14 picks?

OK but the fact that the owners would never agree to it proves that it’s a good idea.

I’m all for everyone who doesn’t make playoffs getting the same odds at every pick.:

I feel like players choosing to play together also contributes to some of this stuff. I feel like in the past there were more decent teams because the stars were more spread out.

This will be a terribly unpopular idea but I’ll say it anyway - Add in some of the European soccer model to the NBA’s existing structure.
