It’s funny to me how the PC and console versions feature the same characters and whatnot, but are evolving into two completely different games. It’s making it really weird to try and play with two different groups of friends - one group on PC and one on PS4.

I get the idea of wanting to make it easier to play with friends, but one of the best feelings for me in an MMO is exploring farther than I should and getting destroyed by some random mob, only to come back twenty levels later and one hit the thing with smug satisfaction.

So the next expansion will be released on September 20th, and will tell the story of how the Iron Lords fell. Good thing there's an official announcement coming otherwise I'd feel a little in the dark about the whole thing!

I so thoroughly enjoy reading stories about EVE. I tried ‘playing’ once after reading one such story but found it much more enjoyable to let them have the fun while I just read about it. It makes me a little jealous.
