I am absolutely OK with purpose built race car.
But if they were bodied with stock body panels (plus whatever areo appendages they need) instead of a generic body with stock car inspired nose and tail stickers, I would be even more OK with that.

I agree with purpose built cars, the tube frame structures are more crash worthy, and NASCAR seems to insist on crashes as their prime attractant.
