Doesn’t surprise me. I mean, college football coaches get paid this much. The point is though, company turned a profit (rather large one at that) and they’re paying these top level people huge sums of money. They can afford the healthcare.

a sampling of stupid-as-shit points for both:

Almost time to fix my fun car so it runs again.

Well said.

I normally don’t understand peoples love for Alfa Romeo because *unreliable* rings in my ears so harshly. But then you see pictures like this and you realize reliability isn’t that important. That is a gorgeous shot.

So wait hold on 1 minute. If the highways were wider, or more of them to help free-up traffic they wouldn’t sit their idling half as long making for less time the cars are operating. It’s not high-tech but it would probably impact emissions/air quality.

“on par with UAW shops” is an iffy subject. It’s hard to gauge if it’s the company’s product that is an issue or if it’s the workers. Right now the Jeep Wrangler is in trouble for bad welds. I don’t know if they were robotic welds or human welds or if it’s just a poorly designed frame that’s hard to weld nice. There

Yeah that was a close call in Tennessee. I just don’t see the people down south fighting to be part of a corrupt union that’s been caught up in scandal after scandal. There was a time the UAW was 100% needed and helped it’s workers immensely, I just feel that time has mostly passed.

I have no idea, all I can tell you is that I see non-union plants moving into the US and union plants having their jobs shipped out with the companies saying it costs too much to produce the product.

2020 Chevy Spark only starts at $13,220, sounds like Chevy can just instantly turn out a car for less than 10k. Damn Californians keeping us from sub 20k brand new cars!

Funny how foreign automakers keep investing in and opening plants in the US but aren’t UAW plants (See BMW, Volvo, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Kia, Honda, Toyota, etc). Those companies seem to be able to keep their workers happy without a union. If they weren’t happy all of the UAW attempts to pull them in wouldn’t have

nah, Detroit style is rectangle and kind of a weird half-way thickness style between chicago and new york.

We also are in the top 5 for best beer producing states. You know you want beer with that pizza.

All I can really say is, I don’t understand lol.

I had to remove the windshield washer fill tube and basically he whole airbox in our JK Wrangler to change a headlight bulb the other day...and still cut my hand with how little space I had. I suppose I could’ve taken the whole grille off, that MIGHT have helped...

but water is in fact NOT wet...

My LG V50 ThinQ has a headphone jack, expandable storage, 5 cameras (insane), 128gb storage, and 5g capability. I’m also pretty sure a stylus would work on it just fine if I actually cared to try.

I don’t know what state you are in but a lot of people don’t know that almost half the states have specific laws on lease cancellation payments. You can just cancel the lease for roughly the cost of 2 monthly payments and walk away.

Don’t forget they have a large number of corporate employees as well. the big 3 numbers are combined.

wait Werewolf Bat Mitzvah was from 30 Rock!
