Ah. That would explain why Galaxy Quest isn't on the list.

You're welcome. But check out their website (just google Billy Rose Library). They have restrictions on who can view their stuff, so you may need to invent a reason to research. The woman mentioned choosing a specific points in the play so she'd get the most Rickman.
There is a film of the performance in the Billy Rose Theatre Division of the New York public library. I think what they do is archive all the Broadway productions on video. I once read a blog by some woman who describing her experience of watching about twenty minutes of the show. (They don't allow people to watch…
You're quite welcome. :)
Nice interview. This is just a copyediting note: The vocal coach David mentioned is named Debra Byrd.
I was going to say that she's more like Tom Riddle — who could do all the amazing magic stuff, but didn't have any training. Which, if she does go dark, would be an interesting parallel.
I think the term is "Gary Stu." I didn't mind Rey's general awesomeness. I'm not sure why, but it seemed like she earned most of power she had. And the rest is raw, unformed potential. My main thought was that, compared to both Anakin and Rey, Luke's upbringing was a cakewalk I mean, sure he didn't get to run off…
I did think at that moment: Okay, now Harrison Ford doesn't have to make any more Star Wars movies.
I agree that Han was knowingly taking a risk to try and save his son. It reminded me much more of the moment when Obi-Wan Kenobi faces Darth Vader, and sacrifices himself — complete with horrified reaction from his spiritual child.
Am I right in thinking that the big planet weapon can only be used once? Since it gathers the energy it needs from its sun, draining the star completely before firing. So, then you need to find another planet, right, and start over?
I'm at peace with that. :)
Inference.
You can also alter the film to remove a blink. Maybe they just didn't have the time to make that fix.
I see what you're saying. The only thing I would add is that Jessica's power to resist is built on all she's suffered. But it's also somewhat mysterious and we don't know if she can continue to resist, or if Kilgrave can overcome her resistance.
There is a binge-watch version of the discussion on this site. But it's nice to have both options, because the binge-watch thread doesn't go as in depth — at least not in the review part, because the reviewer was having to post so quickly. She had no time to reflect on each episode.
I guess. But that Beth relationship was always presented as unrealistic at best, so it's hard to care whether she's the "bad one" or not. Especially since she's only marginally worse.
Isn't David Faustino doing voice acting? I thought he was a character on The Last Airbender or Legend of Korra.
Cam is theatrical. Mitchell isn't. He's simply nursing his shame at looking less than perfect the year before.
This week Andrea Martin, last week Catherine O'Hara. I like this SCTV trend. Can we get Dave Thomas and Rick Moranis next?
Beth isn't the bad one. Their ten-year relationship had run its course. If anything, she comes off slightly better for being the one to tell him.
