He’s a habitual line stepper.

Can we just play through this Presidency?

“I wanted to give him a chance. He seemed like a real winner, but this has gone too far.” - At least one of my uncles.

Why are people so mad about this? I feel like it looks ridiculous and that is how I like my Ryan Murphy since I don’t think he’s a great visionary or anything.

Team Mary 100%. She has the best eyerolls, the best clothes, and her vagina is a literal assassin

I think the selfish part is not paying some more money to the surrogate mother.

Your first sentence is probably right, but Kim hates being pregnant because it was horribly painful and potentially fatal to her, not just “so hard”. Kim not wanting to carry another child is only selfish in that it would probably kill her and/or the new baby.

It’s all about the lining.

She had severe preeclampsia (a high blood pressure disorder) which can be deadly to both her and the baby if mismanaged. She also had to deliver North 6 weeks early because of it, since delivery is the only cure.

And of course part of getting you to buy the lifestyle they are selling is getting you to dislike the lifestyle you have, to feel it’s not good enough.

Yep, see also the very mixed responses from women whenever “normal” bodies are used in modeling. We think we want authenticity, but we’re very, very used to fantasy.

I’m convinced that’s really why no one wants to design for plus size - because their non-plus size brand will suffer as a result. Women tend to avoid what they see they are afraid of being. This film has been my unashamed favourite romcom since the day I saw it (probably a couple of years after it came out - I was 7 when it hit cinemas). As a kid it blew my tiny mind that Julia Roberts could be a leading lady and not win the guy. As an adult, I can watch it with a full understanding of what a fucking

While You Were Sleeping is great though!

Can we talk about how the Diaz/Mulroney relationship is fucked and they’ll most likely be getting a divorce 4 years on? He wants her to quit college so he can further his sport writing career, and she very much does not want to do this, and the movie never resolves it. Plus he turns into a total douche when she

Julia Roberts can be so good when she just embraces the shallow, petty, vindictiveness that comes naturally to her.

“A Nazi banner? Are you guys saying you’re Nazis?”
“No, we’re saying ‘We killed a bunch of Nazi’s and took their shit’. Here, let’s have some Folgers Instant out of Hitler’s coffee cups.”
“Oh, that’s actually okay then.”

Did they look here?
