If there were no branding badges, could you tell the difference between a last-gen Hyundai Sonata and a Toyota Corolla? Can you tell the difference between a similarly spec'd Acer netbook and an HP one? Can you tell the difference between a Black & Decker toaster from one from Westinghouse? Design follows trends

webwerwerld.nl is really just reversing the manipulation that Apple has already put on their manipulated image. Apple used an image for Android of the App Drawer, a part of the UI that houses apps in a grid-like fashion. However, with the picture of the iPhone, they're using the homescreen. The site's "actual size"

Apple's suing Samsung for "stealing" from the design of the iPhone and iPad; part of that would obviously include the size, but that's not the only reason. I'm sorry, but if Apple's required to manipulate "evidence" to make their case, they need to just drop it. This type of bad PR is going to be worse than the lost

Haha, gotcha. Or you could just eat an apple!

I definitely know what you're saying. I remember using Chomp on my iPhone 3G and thinking it was the most marvelous thing I'd ever seen. Then my friend showed me Handcent on his Evo and I nearly pissed myself at it's utility. I wish either of them had been able to continue that type of development...

That link is fucking ridiculous... Marco needs to pull his face out of Apple's ass for two seconds and re-read what he's written...

On a front wheel drive car, no less... I hate humanity sometimes...

Or start a new tube? I've always wondered why, of all things, toothpaste was the important thing not to waste. If you leave half of a brush in the tube, is it really going to ruin the world?

Very much agreed. I tried out Handcent and found it to be both cumbersome and ugly. Uploaded Go SMS the next day and haven't looked back.

You won't regret it! Enjoy!

Thank you for providing actual events and coverage to this post where Casey couldn't.

And any one who must share a toilet with Big Booty Judy...

Hearted for parallel thinking...

The M$ Arc keyboard is pretty great. Amazing battery life and they've cut off the vestigial number pad. The function keys might be a tad small for your taste, though...

Yeah, some of their choices so far haven't made any sense. They've got what looks like Wichita, yet nothing around the Kansas City or Topeka (the frakin' capital).

See, I think this is the problem with WebOS/Palm/HP. I've never heard anything drastically terrible about the software (in fact, I've only ever heard really great things). Yet somehow, HP can't, and Palm couldn't before, figure out how to market their shit the right way! I feel like HP really just wanted to add

Right?

The problem is that WebOS has been around for quite awhile - and it's still struggling to gain mainstream dev attention! Granted, every single person I've talked to who either had a Pre or Pixi has loved WebOS. I would love to sit down and play around with the TouchPad, but I'm not going to buy one (most likely

Hahahahahahaha... yup!

You know, Casey, we tend to give you a lot of shit around here for some of your articles, but I actually found this one pretty amusing. Keep writing ones like this and you'll be on the right track! ;-)
