I had a 1985 Celica GTS hatchback 5spd. I did daily it. One of the few cars I regret selling. Only paid $1,200 for it in 2001.

I had the base model Beretta with the 2.2 OHV 4 cylinder. That whopping 95 HP/120 lb-ft left scorch marks on the Earth.

wow...and here I am complaining about having to take the passenger side wheel and all inner plastic fender splash guards off just to get to the belt tensioner on my 2.4L Ecotec.

The 1991 Chevy Corsica was an absolute crapbox....she deserved it.

it’s also worth it for insurance purposes. Those points could drive up his insurance costs for several years.

oh trust me, you don’t want to try to make the judge feel stupid. I tried and not only did I receive the full ticket, he threatened to hold me in contempt.

really? The high bar isn’t “I’m going to jump this supercar from skyscraper to skyscraper”?

I agree, especially for a first time driver. I daily a ‘00 Wrangler and that thing is skiddish as all get out in the winter. When it gets into it’s power band the rear end will just snap right out. Plus the 4wd system in a Wrangler isn’t for use on concrete.

One of the few cars I wish I wouldn’t have gotten rid of is my ‘85 Celica GTS.

Had a ‘91 GS...cool looking, slow AF. And that power/eco button. Always laughed when someone asked if it actually added more power.

There was another article where the police chief said that between 1-5 cars are stolen every year because they are left running unattended.

Yep...in my driveway there is a Grand Am and a G6.

When I was a kid my neighbor had one of these cars, exactly like that...same paint scheme and everything. That backseat was small even for a couple of 9 year olds. Always thought it was kind of a cool car compared to the other Cavaliers...but that was mostly the norm of the Z model cars of that era...the Z model was

There is no way you’re fitting that thing in there....and yes, that’s what she said.

yeah I don’t like the new LED version of the bubble. At night as a driver approaching a traffic stop you could see that red rotating light much earlier than the new strobing LED. So when you’re on the interstate and climbing a little hill you’d see that red light streak across the land and know that once you crested

It is a stop placard that was used for side stopping vehicles as well as a secondary stop sign for when a vehicle is used to block an intersection..but for the most part they’ve stopped using them for those purposes and are there mostly for tradition sake.

Now all they have to do is figure out how to get rid of that blasted 9 speed auto trans and I might consider buying one.

is that for all 4.0L of 2000-2001? Should I go take a look at my Wrangler’s head for that casting #?

meh...I’d take the ‘85...looked about the same and most importantly...was RWD. Loved my ‘85 GTS hatch.

The Rubicon package on all Wranglers offer locking diffs.
