Um what? What exactly did I miss? You sound ultra butt-hurt.

Eh, I dunno man. I left the theater feeling BUMMED OUT after seeing TLJ, it drained me of patience and energy. It wasn’t fun, it wasn’t exciting, and for me, it wasn’t particularly thoughtful or ambitious. Even as a stand-alone film, it felt pretty lame but I digress. Agreed, it is a god-awful sequel for Force

It’s a fucking shame that more people aren’t watching Deadringers. The original movie is amazing, and the series does a great job of capturing the themes of the film while adding some pretty cool subplots.

I do agree here, skill checks are very wierd conceptually. If it’s something knowledge-related, like the player is asking if their character would know something or not, I just base it off their background and possibly off an attribute that would be associated with the information they want to know- no dice.

I don’t think YOU’VE had any good DMs, but you’ve probably had some good low-risk cooperative story telling. The best DMs let the dice do the talking, and create a good story from the outcome.

100% agree. Good DM’s create a good story out of dice rolls, not in spite of them. When their’s risk involved, let the dice decide.

The best kind <3

This pretty much sums up my feelings.

I loved Forced Awakens for the new cast alone, but Last Jedi was such a genuinely bad film that I’m convinced that people who claim to love it are sort of “psy-oped” into defending it from the chuds’ reactions, or people don’t care about a coherent story and have terrible taste in

I have literally never seen an article about them except on Fox News, National Review, the New York Post, and occaisionally here. I don’t think progressive outlets talk about them that much.

lol no, both Trek and Star Wars are super stagnate. A musical episode proves this even more, as “musical episodes” and other gimics are usually evidence that the writer’s room is running out of ideas.

Honestly both series just need a huge reboot or just to end completely- a pox on both their houses.

It’s always been very wierd to me how much the fox news crowd cares about the royal family.

Maybe the boomer in me is loose, but this looks pretty dumb.

A former National Review writer hates feminism? *gasp*

Who is Precious?

Call me when they figure out how to animate Alex Ross illustrations. This whole style/medium of anime is so ugly.

As long as I can still kill Astarion as soon as I meet him, I’m down.

I can’t wait for this show to be cancelled.

Man Rolling Thunder is such a fucking good movie. Got to see it on the big screen just recently, shocking as ever and it still holds up. Young Tommy Lee Jones already flexing his acting chops too.

Bummer, this was one of the better extraction shooters, and had a really great, colorful aesthetic.

This has always driven me kinda crazy about mech/giant robot games. When you don’t throw in people on foot running around, like hordes of infantry or something, it’s hard to “feel” like you’re in a mech. They might as well be RC robots on a miniature battlemap without something to set the scale beyond just buildings
