Lady Shiva was awesome in Birds of Prey. The whole Jade Canary thing and Dinah making her wear fishnets debacle was beautiful. Simone did a great job with that entire storyline.

You are so right about the Lady Shiva thing. I was trying to tell my wife about her, about how badass she is when my wife said, "But every time I see her she's getting her ass kicked."

I have to say this interview made me get the new Wonder Woman. And I'm glad I did. I was totally on the fence about it until I read this. So for the first time in my life I bought a Wonder Woman comic.

Actually I used to do that too. I wasn't always drunk but I would be out with friends and randomly decide it was time to go. So I would just leave when no one was looking.

One of the reasons I stopped reading Marvel (and X-Men in particular) is because it seems like they're always in an event.

I imagine moms are responsible for the value of old comics. If they didn't throw out so many back in the day they'd be worth a lot less now.

Actually I'm the same way. I don't like Doctor Who at all. But I fucking love Daleks. My wife is a giant Doctor Who fan and I ask her to come get me whenever she watches an episode with Daleks in it. I love them.
