I assume that was just a necessity because of some divorce he was going through at the time but he’s spun it to be about his work ethic.

Can anyone explain what good Elon did/does on the factory floor, sleeping or awake? This dude wouldn’t know which end of a hammer to hold, and if he had a toolbox, it would be all 10mm sockets.
Musk bought Twitter because he’s addicted to it and he wants total control over it. There’s a lot of kerfuffle about some article about “How Musk can declare war on the ‘global elitists’” by buying Twitter, but I think it’s more that he’s addicted to the dopamine hits he gets from using Twitter to hurt people while…
I listened to the call - the really good stuff is at 48:30.
The whole argument about “fairness” of WFH is just a thinly veiled way to make the working class argue with itself.
I didn’t go digging, so the one thing that I stumbled across was throwing doubt on the whole thing. “Oh, just *some analyst,* huh? They probably just hate him, if they were even there at all.” Something like that.
Can we all just take a minute and observe that the top photo is pretty decent photoshop work? The pacifier is so-so, but the baby sun hat is a pretty convincing sell. Just needs a little more edge blur and depth of field. Nice!
Wait, a company with a reactionary idiot CEO who also happens to be trying to be CEO for multiple other companies at the same time is struggling now that there are actual problems to resolve and competition from other companies?
Elon’s famous for saying that if factory workers can’t work from home, software engineers shouldn’t get to either. But that doesn’t apply to him, does it? He’s in an intense leadership role in multiple companies. If I told my management “Hey, I’ll be spending eight months of the year working at other companies, but I…
Sure seems like there are a number of people who have been fortunate enough to have their decisions go their way for long enough that it’s basically impossible for them to admit that they even have the capacity for making an incorrect call. Anything that happens is the fault of someone or something else.
I might be able to muster up some empathy if all his problems weren’t knowingly and willingly self inflicted.
“I almost lunged at him.”
Thank you for focusing on the important things in this story ❤
I would generally say a nation state has more of a responsibility to midigate innocents being harmed than a terrorist group. Seems a lot of people don’t agree.
Or are you just fine turning a blind eye to Jewish babies being butchered in their homes?
Well, not before the US stops blocking the UN from doing anything about it (I think the UK and France do occasionally as well).
Especially via Instagram.
The hangover from WWII that continues to drag people into armed conflicts shows exactly how bloodthirsty some have become about the defense of Israel at the cost of innocent people in Gaza. Those who knew nothing of what was to happen and are now being told their lives and homes are at risk if they remain. Even when…
Israel is an Apartheid state.
Ok so outside the crimes against humanity AND being an apartheid state, we are now going to let a foreign nation harass a private US citizen?
If any other nation did this, there would be outage.
