I do hope that Ray’s relationship arc with his childhood next-door neighbour, Jenny Jurden, isn’t entirely ret-conned (…I really liked that part).

Growing up, my favourite X-Men team member was always Iceman; for X-Force it was always Shatterstar; and my fave DC superhero was The Ray (I still treasure my TPB of the six-issue miniseries with stellar art by Joe Quesada).

OMG! Christopher Priest wrote my all-time fave six-issue mini-series, The Ray, back when he was writing comics under the name Jim Owsley and he’s been a personal fave of mine ever since then! Thrilled to hear he’s back in the game!
