This piece was...wow. It’s so frustrating to have to realize that so much of even our personal history is available to us only as jagged fragments of memory in the minds of our fading elders.

I sincerely wish the NAACP would pull a brilliant play and embrace the NRA. Start a whole campaign about how Black Americans need to exercise their second amendment rights. Organize gun buys. Have 30 Black people show up at a gunshop and all buy handguns. Nationwide.
