Vingroup has businesses all over Vietnam. You might buy groceries at VinMart and clothing at VinPlaza.

Very interesting article. The craziest part to me is the price. at $30k, the low slow speed and ride quality might be excusable. But at $70k+, you’re competing with Teslas, Base Taycans, Mach-E GTs, and other very impressive cars

Driving in the US is far more necessary. If you don’t live in a major urban area it’s impractical if not down right detrimental to not drive.

I can help! This is my friends dad’s vehicle. He owned a body shop in Texas and built it before retirement. He loved shortened vehicles and they tow this behind a converted bus. They moved to Richland several years ago when my friend got a job up there.

I don’t want this car... I NEED this car.

I want to be a collector of Merkurs and Edsels.

I still refer to them as the Steve Urkel cars.

I hate to admit this, but I think GM has the right idea. Limited access roads that are fully mapped with some real time data of traffic conditions and road conditions. As more data is collected from these roads (from smart buoys and from interconnected trucks and cars), this can make driving down the interstates more

I don’t think I want to see what a further cost engineered Tesla interior looks like. Sitting in one now it’s already readily apparent they tried hard to cut interior costs and it’s blatantly obvious that all your money went to the powertrain. World class powertrain & batteries, OK economy car interior.

Carvana is on their way out of business. It has been obvious for some time. Made a nice chunk of change shorting it, but I am done now that the media is talking about it. Without fail, once the media starts reporting on a particular company and how to make money off of them, the pros are long gone and have cashed out.

but retiring at a good age before completely destroying his body, especially after 1 bad(documented) injury, more power to him.

The fact that the driver kept their foot on the gas even after they had crashed into a pole makes it sound like a medical issue to me

“He just told us the car went straight into them and several of his classmates were severely injured,” the woman, who was not at the scene when the incident occurred, said. “The driver was still on the accelerator,” she added, noting that someone from the group of recruits was “trying to break the car window just

95% chance it’s a medical related incident. There would be little reason to slam into a pole and hold down the accelerator pedal if they were going after the recruits.

Because this is a car and auto-enthusiasts’ website and if it wasn’t mentioned, we’d all be asking. Knowing what car lets us paint a picture of what happened, what the fuel lines would’ve looked like, where he was in his shop, what era of fuel delivery he was dealing with...

Wacky crazily-designed bottles and glasses like that are fun to look at on the shelf at Binny’s while saying “whoa, cool” and then immediately moving past to get the functional and good things you’d actually consider buying.

Weirdly enough, I owe my career to Keith. He asked me to contribute an article to a website in 1994 and asked me to send it in HTML, so I learned HTML. Damn good timing.

Adding to this with what’s probably an obvious point, a snow plow vehicle will also be exposed to salt and snow, so the underside is going to need a thorough inspection for rust and crud. Considering the lack of undercarriage shots here, I think that’s somewhat telling.

Do they salt the roads where this Jeep is sold? That is the first and probably most important question.
