Thank you. This myth, that liberals don’t own guns and that cracker America will triumph in the unfortunate event of a second treasonous civil war by regressive elements, is just irresponsible posturing by fake patriots like Steve King and the NRA.

These two attention whores were made for each other.

Ask Alan Turing about that. Oh, wait... I guess you can’t.

They might not actually throw any rocks, but a bunch of them would be perfectly happy to help somebody else find some.

Mike Pence approves this message.

A star for the Warren Zevon reference.

When in the last forty years have Republicans ever provided a thoughtful option to anything? Trickle-down economics that have never worked, and privatization... that’s the GOP idea of ‘thoughtful options’.

The Republican plan is for us all to die and go to Heaven. Unless you’re a socialist. Because Jeebus.

Those dice are uglier than Lonzo’s jumper.

Also FoxNews talking heads, after the R. Kelly interview .

I can only speak for Louisiana but here they tend to be even more heavily segregated by race than the public schools.  I will let you draw your own conclusions about who will benefit most from policies supported by a DeVos-led DOE.

Does Pence know that this will involve the kind  of science that his religious beliefs regularly deny to be true? Or does he think we can get there in prayer-powered rockets?

I feel like you have understated the significance of Kid Rock here.

I wish they would stop calling them ‘charter schools’ and just call them ‘religious indoctrination centers for white kids’. At least be honest about what you want the money for.

This decision seems in many ways to be analogous to the Barr report on the Mueller investigation— nobody really has any idea whether somebody did something illegal or not.

If only Republicans were as opposed to stupid as they claim to be to abortion, or to making private choices in private and without government interference.

I can only hope that the vulture’s fondness for dead things is somehow a reflection on the future of Smith’s career.

Barr was handpicked for the job precisely for his experience in assisting the president in how to obstruct justice, and protecting the people who did it.

House votes 420-0 in favor of releasing the report, but McConnell blocks it from even getting a vote in the Senate... maybe it’s Mitch we need to be removing from office.

I think the WMD in Iraq lie qualifies as far more of a big political lie, since it cost a few hundred thousand lives and a trillion dollars. Trumpites are only clutching their pearls over this one because it’s (maybe) the one shitty thing Trump DIDN’T do.
