Cops selectively enforcing the law according to their personal beliefs is precisely why so many people don’t trust them now. I agree 100% with your ‘don’t give a shit either way’ stance. However as a student of history I’d like to point out that no good comes of ANY country claiming a right to exist, and to colonize their neighbors, based on their religious identity. 

The only thing that offends me more than a lobbying group buying our legislators is a  RELIGIOUS lobbying group buying our legislators. They may be an American group but they are acting at the direction of a foreign government, and are promoting policy decisions that actively impede any hope for peace in the region.…

The best move the Lakers could make now is to sit LeBron, go into full-blown tank mode... then trade him to New Orleans for AD and Jrue Holliday, or possibly AD and Julius Randle. Improve their draft position, get two great young players, and have cap room left to sign Kevin Durant or Kawhi Leonard.

The Lakers would be better off adding Alan Iverson. They already have all the wings who can’t guard anybody they need, and I bet Iverson can still shoot free throws better than anybody on the current Lakers roster.
