Curious that that’s the conclusion you draw from my comment.
It seems to me that she operates in a way that ,in a man, would be described as ‘aggressive hands-on management strategy’.
The guy who wrote the book had some sort of injections to darken his skin, and (I believe) later died of some sort of possibly-related liver malfunction. It’s actually a fascinating and pretty horrifying book that was considered ‘radical’ subject matter when I read it in junior high 50 years ago.
As a long-time Louisiana resident I can assure you that nothing about this is surprising, except maybe that they didn’t actually shoot anyone.
Poor people in Latin America flock to these pseudo-leftist, pseudo-populist demagogues precisely because they know what’s going to happen to them when the US-approved candidates get elected: the CIA will be training their police and ‘anti-terrorism’ squads, the IMF and World Bank will take over their economic…
As a loyal UK fan, I resent this... (examines your photo and caption) oh, never mind.
Whenever I see a drunk middle-aged white woman bragging about knowing Kanye lyrics I immediately discount anything else she might say after that.
She looks like she just got back from a vacation with Willie Nelson.
There are great historical stories from that era, all the way back to Thomas Walker in Nicaragua and the creation of Panama as an “independent” country (as a means of stealing it from Colombia so we could build the Canal before the French or British did). Good times!
THIS. That this war criminal is now serving in yet another administration, when he ought to be doing hard time for war crimes and institutionalized perjury, is a snapshot of American foreign policy towards Latin America that was been a driver for the immigration crisis since the 70s. It might be only one voice, but...…
A friend of mine calls this ‘the first victim is free’ policing strategy.
He’s just trying to give all that ‘executive time’ some tangible purpose. Waiting any minute now to hear about him tweeting that every one of his drives goes 450 yards down the precise middle of the fairway.
This guy now has a weed-smoking story that very few of his friends will ever be able to top.
Wyoming is also a huge US coal producer, and therefore a huge source of industry funding for pro-coal politicians. THAT’S the part of her plan that has this hack in a tizzy.
Her comments didn’t provoke (fake) outrage because they were anti-Semitic (which they were not). They provoked outrage because they jeopardized a huge source of money to DC lobbyists and the politicians they subsidize.
Maybe she could consider the possibility that there’s a reason nobody except Trump will say those things. Like, maybe, that they’re demonstrably false? Transparent self-promotion? Wilful misrepresentations? Her presence on the show is just another example of bothsiderism masquerading as openmindedness, and an effort…
Possibly/probably. I guess their size was probably limited by the dimensions/construction of the actual burrows. Still, ANY creature that will crawl (more than once) into a badger sett is worthy of admiration— I weigh a hundred and seventy pounds and I wouldn’t do it at gunpoint.
I believe that dachshunds were bred to go down into badger burrows and drag the badgers out. A dog who would do this once might just be dumb; a a dog that would do it more than once is worthy of infinite admiration.
LSU won the game on what was pretty clearly basket interference, since the ball was still well within the cylinder when the LSU player tipped it in. However Papa John is still a jackass.
