“Deserves” is a funny word to use. He was having a great year last year playing alongside Davis and Rondo, on a Pelicans team that nobody wanted to face in a playoff series . Nobody ‘deserves’ to have their season or their career derailed by a torn Achilles.

I should state for the record that I’m a fan of the sport, not any one particular team— all I really care about this year is seeing Cousins get a ring, and seeing Rondo and Chris Paul face each other again in the playoffs.
