In retrospect Fitz’s mom deserves a goddamn medal for raising Fitz as a single mom without hammering toxic masculinity into him. Rarely has a kid been so completely better off with no father in their life.

Yes season 4, I fell behind watching it last year and now it’s on Netflix I can catch up. I’m really loving the John Hannah storyline.

“Agents of SHIELD” is my favorite Mutant Enemy / Whedonverse series now. A large, racially diverse cast featuring multiple complex women, briskly paced storylines, a tone that’s badass and funny and heartfelt. What I enjoyed was that on Agents of Shield, when you met ‘Skye’s’ mother, they DID cast an Asian actress in the role to acknowledge that the actress was of mixed heritage.
