Game 1 of the NLDS, last year. Ethier on third. Dodgers down by 1. Puig at the plate. If he could’ve driven that run in, it would’ve dramatically changed the series.
not that it’s worth $21 million, but he was worth 2.6 WAR last year and was great in the postseason. he was great in 2013 as well. if he could hit LHP he’d be a stud.
really, really want to see one of these maps overlayed with an electoral map so i can know which counties are truly, truly the worst.
I'm a Dodgers fan and my wife is Yankees fan. In 2009 we went on our honeymoon in Paris and counted Yankees hats vs Dodgers hat and made a bet over it. I figured there would be more Yankees hats, but after a day I decided to go with Yankees hats vs Kobe jerseys and it almost evened out.
I think in general, people…
The Giants have won 3 out of the last 5 world series. not surprising they have more fans anywhere.
Also, they beat Kershaw twice in the same series so clearly there is some witchcraft or devilish behavior going on.
but seriously a HOUSE WENT MISSING?
I'm surprised LA isn't further to the top. Maybe it was before the Kings started winning....
I will say that shoes make all the difference in the world. a year ago I couldn't run more than 1.5 miles. This weekend I ran 6, in just over 60 minutes. Obviously me working my ass off is a big part of it, but I really turned a corner (no pun intended) when I put the money in and bought a solid pair of running shoes.
To me, this is the equivalent of hanging a division championship banner up in a basketball arena.
grew up in LA loving the Lakers. I was 18 in 2000 and those few years were a blast. I hated that 2004 team. Hated Malone for what he did to Magic. Hated Payton for some reason. Routed for the Clippers that year, and pretty much only that year.
I usually find that San Francisco is a few steps behind NYC in social and cultural trends, but it seems as if the tables have finally turned.
"The NFL is made up of good and caring people."
NSFW to me means, "not suitable for anybody to hear or see what you're watching at work." It does not mean, "not suitable to have that in your browser history at work."
Bills fans.
i'm not convinced that the shirtless guy isn't him
"it's a special breed of insufferable when a fan base goes form nonexistent to so-good-we-think-we're-part-of-the-team in just three years. I like the seahawks, but the 12th man can fuck right off."
apparently you've never met any NYC sports fans. Or Cards fans, but duh on that one.
he got busted in 2012 but had his best season last year.
