I see some Xbox S and Xs in stock at Yodobashii online and in store.  I dont like the fuss of PC-gaming and like the simplicity of consoles.  Was waiting for the PS5, but seeing as how its never in stock.. was thinking of jumping towards the X.  See what this game pass is all about.

In the old days, I could understand the debate between SNES/Genesis or PS1/N64/Saturn graphics because they were noticeably different. But nowadays its just so trivial, with slightly better lighting here and there, slightly better textures or sharpness. a lot of it is who cares, as long as it maintains a stable frame…

action RPG? the “battles” still seem turned based.  Secret of Mana is what I think of when I think Action RPG.

I appreciate that the designer kept to the short megaman design too!  just like short early sonic looks so much better than skinny tall sonic of his later years

whats interesting is that although its from the 80s, a lot of the later mario games use design cues from this movie, like the bowser battle, the mario odyssey desert town, peaches castle, etc

I liked the characters (except Snow). but that was such a linear experience. 90% of the game is basically walking in one direction.  By the time i finally get to an open world, all it had were dinosaurs.  The sole town was also destroyed and full of monsters.
