I read this thinking, some one made a Sonic game based on Nights into Dreams. That would have been awesome because the Saturn never had a true Sonic game (just compilations and a racer). I always imagined Nights as a game that was originally intended to feature Super Sonic. The hedgehog saiyan.

as an old school gamer. I’ve noticed in many Japanese games.. final bosses tend to be the head or face of some beautiful woman embedded in some grotesque monster or alien. I.E. Super Contra, various Final Fantasy games, Phantasy Star, etc
