The problem is not Gallup’s methodology, it’s the cult of personality that exists in the GOP today. Every Republican says the man they admire most is Trump, whereas Democrats choose a whole bunch of people, none of whom garner enough votes on their own to beat Trump’s total.
Are we really going to sit through 4-8 years of Republicans suddenly concerned about fiscal responsibility? a one time payment of 600 is a dick slap to the face. a 600 a months for x amount of months would’ve at least provided a small cushion for folks.
I’ll say it: $600 is insulting. It’s already spent for so many people. If you need to pay for housing, food, utilities, that $600 was gone last summer.
