It’s more stupid than fear. People worldwide are afraid, but most of the denial is coming from the US. We have become an overly individualist and self absorbed culture which lends itself to people who don’t care about anything or anyone unless it impacts them personally

If the libtard scientists are right about the coronavirus, what else are they right about?  Vaccines don’t cause satanic autism? Global warming is real?  The Earth is more than 6000 years old?  It’s a slippery slope!

For some, it’s a cynical move to create fear and chaos. Also, it muddies the water of truth and logic. Fascism thrives on those factors.

A lot of it is fear. The presence of a pandemic significantly uproots people’s lives, and people would rather lie to themselves and deny that it’s happening than actually deal with the problem. It’s a way to maintain control in a world that’s increasingly becoming chaotic.
