I genuinely thought this as well. The media as RELENTLESS with her. I’m glad she has some normalcy and can raise her boys relatively quietly.

Never in her life has she been. I find Rita generally super made up and not very attractive outside of that (subjective) but even if I were to give her the benefit of the doubt, she STILL isn’t in the same league as Rihanna.

    I remember that one too!

That look Farrell has makes me holler every time. Wiig is selling the angsty, consternation (somewhat) but dude looks soooo much like his Ron Burgundy character I cannot take it seriously. Like...at all!

I will ALWAYS respect her craft for playing the completely insane, bitter ex wife in the Betty Broderick story. That is one I can watch with my mom over and over again.

I mean...damn. Lol. Let her live.

I got this as well. Hella accurate.

Oh I totally agree that she wanted to single herself out while retaining her privilege. She probably was treated fine by black professors and students, as we’re used to interacting with white people in almost all areas of our lives. (not to say that some black folks cant be assholes, just saying it’s not like we don’t

    Yeah. I figured.

I peeped that as well and thought the same thing.

When she attended, she did so as a white student though.

I think so too. Just saying...folks getting wild out here over some pee droplets but when you’re a couple, LOTS of gross shit happens. People will deal :D

Hmmm...I forgot about the “optional” part. It was a long time ago when I filled my app out. If anyone is in college admissions, can y’all speak to this? It’s not that I doubt you, I just want more information from people who deal with this all day long. Thanks for that insight though because I really did not think it

Girl I read that like, “welcome to being black 101.”

    LOL.

“Because of her work in African-American art, they thought she was a black student during her application, but they ended up with a white person.”

The scene wasn’t super graphic and was brief from what I remember. It kind of showed the girl after the scene was done. It was still kind of disturbing though because you could HEAR it (which for me is almost worse).

Yeah, watching that one gave me a new respect for her as well. I figured Iyanla had to do some follow up and whatnot because K’s support system aka stupid friend Christina Milian was like the blind leading the blind. I hope she drops her as a friend next.

I was coming here to say the same thing. If men are taking out tampons with their teeth before giving oral sex (and trust me...some of them are) then a stick with a CAP ON IT with a tinge of pee is nothing. Knock it off.

Me also. I thought about going back but haven’t really had the desire (pun...maybe intended). I got through the first episode before I just fell off of watching entirely. Anyone else who watched it...did it get any better?
