To early 90's eyes a Ramcharger looked better next to a Bronco. Beefier, bigger, taller, with more distinct design, stuff that mattered more in the 90's.

It hurts, but sometimes you have to let good sense overpower your nostalgia.
Ramchargers were so much better looking and spanked the Bronco in initial quality.
It’s a cruiser, if it were geared like a 2010 WRX it’d get to 60 in the lower 5's.
Either the roads are getting plowed, salted and sanded, or you shouldn’t be out driving because no passenger vehicle is safe in the amount snow that a normal sedan would have to push though. If you live in the country and have a challenging and long driveway, this might be a real consideration, but Outback and…
If you scraped your outback a lot, you may need a taller vehicle.
Traded in the wife’s Outback for a Legacy. Since I have a truck, we haven’t missed the extra space. How much better the Legacy is as a car makes it hard to justify what Outback offers if you live in un-rugged areas.
What one should and should not do doesn’t necessarily intersect with the realities of life in Wisconsin in the winter.
From my original comment
Been to Stowe hundreds of times, not a Buick crowd there.
Sure, but you really shouldn’t be driving in 8 inches of snow in most cases anyway.
This is the first Buick I would sport since the Grand National. Bravo GM!
Of the tens of thousands of outbacks I’ve ever seen (former VT resident, so I know of what I speak) I’ve seen an Outback use its ground clearance exactly one time in real life, and that was a demonstration of its ground clearance. Yes, some people live off of country roads and they need it, but I don’t think that’s…
I live in a smallish city of 40,000 people in Central Florida, and we happen to have 3 NSX DD’s in our downtown area. One red, one black, and one yellow. All gentlemen in their 50-60's that keep them clean AF. I asked one one time if they knew each other and apparently they only knew each other in passing.
Yeah, normally evidence of nothing, esp in this case when the outgoing generation had been with us for too long.
So you think they somehow communicated to Google’s ad network that this post is shit talking Netflix so they should display some Amazon ads?
I get it, my brother brought back a small sample of the stuff they were contending with on the Dakar Rally caked to his equipment and it seems like it would immediately and hopelessly clog anything. Locals said they used the stuff for making casts, and they raced in it for days.
Other commenters are pointing out that it’s snorkel for dust, not water, which yeah, makes it functionless.
That snorkel is really leaving that functionless hood scoop out to dry. Not that either of them is really doing much of anything, but you can’t have both!
