I don’t know what it’d be like to play today, but I REALLY liked that game as a kid for some reason.

The L-class made it because it was just over 2000 pounds, had no power steering or brakes or anything, and we were going over Florida sand. Weight is the enemy, and unless you have serious tires, anything heavy like an SUV is going to sink instantly.
Don’t help them because they’re going to riot... Yeah I heard this before in New Orleans. It’s a ridiculous objection to helping, and insulting to the people on the ground to boot. Everything I hear from family down there about how people are pulling together is nothing short of inspiring.
It’s all my wife sees on the road anymore that she wants. I guess i get it. I’ll never drive one, but I guess I get it. The turbo Forester I drove for a week once was pretty alright, I suppose.
Using national lampoon movies as evidence? I’ll allow it.
I guess I could say something like being an SUV used to mean something, but honestly, with very few exceptions, it really didn’t. Not anything good anyway. I was along for the ride once as a late 90's Saturn L-class made it through a wooded sandy area here in Florida while a 4x4 Durango and Explorer behind us…
Is there anything that makes this car technically an SUV and not just a slightly taller car?
Thanks for your service and your assessment. We saw you guys landing Seahawks on bridges and rescuing people. It was such a beautiful sight.
You check mated that man in two moves, excellent point.
Oh so the problem is worse than I understand, so we should be doing even more than I thought?
Yeah, except there are 4 US military bases on that island. Just Ft Buchanan has 4000 troops and support personnel, so I have to say I’m not impressed by 5,000.
So we should be doing more then, right? Much bigger problem and we’re doing less. They had a national fund drive for relief for that tiny island. We have 3+ million fellow citizens in worse shape, so we should do more.
I was in Holland, not St Maarten, and I was commenting on a level of commitment to their countrymen that we aren’t demonstrating.
It’s funny how people’s memory works, smh.
I wouldn’t want an EV Tundra simply because the existing 5.7 V8 is so sublime. I drive at ‘15 currently, my first truck in a long time. With the TRD CAI and exhaust on it, it’s my favorite sounding vehicle I’ve ever owned.
It’s the capacity for civilians to get off the island. It’s weird we’re relying on Pitbull to get cancer patients off the island, for example.
I didn’t just advocate for more people, I advocated for the mission of providing power to key facilities. The number of people was merely mentioned as evidence of an actual effort. Military units can go weeks without tapping local supplies, and it doesn’t take many to run a generator for a hospital. We have the…
I completely agree with your assessment of the problem. It also comes We have a big problem with only responding to these things instead of putting in place more permanent solutions that save money in the long run. The biggest reason for this resistance is what pisses me of the most: climate change denial. I don’t…
It doesn’t matter how many are there as much as what their orders are.
No you just look like an asshole, because you’re being dismissive of both disasters. I’m not doing anything to augment that.
