It’s Pueto Rico, you can’t expect to get anywhere fast.

Well sure, that’d be ideal, wouldn’t it? I’ve never wished tires made more noise.

Yeah, but you know they’re feeling super vindicated for their truck modification choices now.

I like how you put “do their part” in quotes like it’s something you don’t agree with.

Way to prove your detractors in this thread right! You’re either being willfully ignorant or are just plain ignorant. Either way, every argument you’ve made here is garbage.

Yeah it’s literally characterized by “difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with other people and in using language and abstract concepts.” That’s the actual definition.

That’s actually where I got on board. He’s advocating for tolerance and made a joke to illustrate his point. Celebrate his tolerant attitude and don’t nitpick, this is the sort of thing that got Trump elected.

Yeah, try to find a pair of sub $50 bluetooth headphones on Amazon. Ratings are ALL messed up.

I’m guilty of being an ageist in a few hiring cycles. In my previous role at a marketing agency running online marketing I became highly skeptical of anyone over the age of 40 seeking a position. That said, I did end up hiring a 53 year old at one point because he demonstrated a self-evident youth outlook with their

I hate to say it, but I’ve seen this across all Gizmodo media blogs recently. It’s like a memo went out that said “You know how we have a loose relationship with the truth? Forget about even that, just lie or use what you know to be other people’s lies, it doesn’t matter, Univision wants to cash in.”

I’m right at 6'7", I believe that’s the maximum height before stuff gets really bad.

Q: How did Jeep make the Grand Cherokee Trackhawk strong enough to survive 707 horsepower
A: Pretended they weren’t an FCA company when engineering it.

You didn’t make a single good point there.

Oh, that’s creepy and terrible.

Not my America. I tend to punch those people that do squarely in the face (often figuratively, but has actually happened before) if given the opportunity.

The motivation should be the our 4th largest city was destroyed and hundreds of thousands of people were caught unprepared. If you’re an American, in my book at least, responding to that should be your only priority. Even Walmart came down and opened up their trucks for us during Katrina, even Walmart.

What problems? It’s a way to ration if you don’t want to be morally reprehensible. If you don’t want to deal with it, don’t, it’s not a law, but there are laws against price gouging, for EXTREMELY good reasons.

Purchase limits on pumps, an someone to remind people of them with the ability to shut of the pump if the customer doesn’t comply. Something every gas station is setup to do by law.

No bureaucracy proposed. If a vendor wants to make the effort to help as many people as they can, they’ll need to work extra hard, no doubt about it. Or they can just turn a quick dollar and miss out on a chance to help people. Totally up to them, but basic decency and a majority of our society demand you don’t price

Set the machine to have a max purchase of $20, and have an attendant stationed to enforce it, if you care. Otherwise, don’t manage it and sell out without regard to rationing, but you can’t raise your prices to exploit an emergency. That’s shouldn’t even be on the table if you’re a fellow human being.
