Overruled. They didn't ask for the word. They asked for the name. When speaking or writing in English, when referring to Pius, we say or write Pius. Therefore the name Pius is the same in Latin and English, even if the words "Pius" and "pious" aren't.

Uuuuugh, that was my stupid neighbor and his muscle car (well, except for the matching custom suit).

I knew I needed a foreign beer, and I still didn't get it. It didn't even hit me as obvious in hindsight, until I remembered that 20th century is written as siglo XX in Spanish.

The Girl from Ipanema. I don't think they said it.

So I'm guessing those are all direct quotes from Veep? 'Cause otherwise you guys are so mean…!

That's the default that my pages are set to, but again, it's not an issue with the users doing anything wrong, it's just Disqus not working the way it's supposed to sometimes, unfortunately.

Right. Still.

Yup. And one of my favorite movies ever. I just looked on IMDb to make sure of my answer, and holy mackerel, she was in (okay, a bunch of them were shorts, but still) 79 movies, even though she died at only age 33.

Nah, To Be or Not To Be first.

So it is entirely possible that someone will come across one of the sub-threads

Especially one with a cutesy-wutesy, fluffy-wuffy, Mrs. Kitty-Cat title!

Me, I had always thought Big Ben was the whole tower before I found out it's the bell inside.

Maybe I'll have to ask this tonight, but does that mean you get to watch the games while you wait? I always wondered. That would mean that you can see the champ you'll be going up against, and see how s/he wagers. That would be interesting.

Wow, this new WOT format really, really, really sucks.

There was not so long ago a clue where the answer was also Abelard, and when the contestant gave that name, Alex asked him to specify, to which the contestant replied "Peter". My reply would have been "There's more than one?" But today, just Abelard was good enough.

Grimm lost its regular reviews with just a few episodes to go, but Les Chappell still gives a pretty nice one with the talking points, or whatever that other thing is called. The very same week, Timeless aired its (possibly series?) finale, and although there had been regular reviews for it, there has been absolutely

Oh, sure, and if it was on CBS you'd give it an A++!

I hesitate to ask what exactly you prospect for…
