This was basically a filler episode (which is odd for episode one I guess) but it’s all a lead up to bigger things: Jon and Castle Black, Dany and Vaes Dothrak, Sansa and Brienne adventures, Tyrells and the Sparrows, Jamie and the Riverlands.
Total disappointment. Last season you have him taunting Jamie, saying he wished he knew him with both hands for a good fight, 30 minutes into this season and he’s dead with a knife in the back.
I’m pretty disappointed in how much of a chump they made Hotah into, but at least it’s helping wrap up the Dorne crap.
It’s very pretty, but nothing but moronic shit happens there. We had Jaime and Bronn’s Dorne sitcom last season that amounted to nothing whatsoever in the end, and what the hell is Ellaria Sand’s plan again? Get rid of weak rulers and replace them with stupid rulers? I’m fine if we just don’t see any more of Dorne all…
