The female to male split in my QA department is about 1 to 4o. But they get the same number of toilets. So they have that going for them.
Others may feel this is a non-issue and question whether being a man or woman should have any impact on who’s picking the year’s best games. I don’t agree with that, but if you do, I suppose that’s your prerogative.

I really cannot think of anything less important than entertainment awards shows. Among them I cannot think of any awards show with a lesser amount of important than the VGAs.
I don’t give a damn about the awards at all. All I care about the show are the game reveals and the trailers. Anything else is just blank noise.
That would have been my call, and no, we would not have. I think the issue raised here is interesting and worthy of discussion, but I don’t read the gender ratio of the judges as intentional exclusion that would compel me to protest the awards.
