More like the pounding fathers, amirite?

Damn it, Marvel. Chill with the “must reads”. My wallet can’t take much more.

I love this comment thread so much.

As a fellow 30-something, I both agree and disagree. Looking back through my nostalgia-tinted glasses, sure, it seemed like a golden era of gaming when I was a kid. I still love going back and playing old Sega Genesis, N64, etc. games. Still, the ratio of good games to shit games was not much different back then.

Thank you for sharing. Keep on being you!

I like this post because of how angry it is. Also some interesting language history. +1

Obligatory.

What’s the rule on facebook stalking potential future squeezes? Asking for a friend.

Yeeeeeeeeees!

Here is one of the few cases in which I am very glad to be wrong. A tip of the cap to you, good sir.

Agreed 100% on Cyclops. Magneto was great, but suffered from all the event tie-ins. There’s no guarantee that the books will be good simply because there are fewer of them. I really liked the recent runs of Uncanny X-men and All-new X-men too.

If you’re counting solo Wolverine titles, sure (still not half a dozen, though). It’s still a drop from previous years. We’ve had solo series for Cyclops, Storm, Nightcrawler, and Magneto (my favorite), in addition to Wolverine(s) and the X titles (including X-Force and X-Factor).

Did you read the article? It’s literally about Marvel’s attempt to replace the X-Men with the Inhumans in the coming years.

Hell, there are half-a-dozen X-Books in the All-New, All-Different Marvel and Extraordinary X-Men is only one of them.

Lockheed all day.

Exactly. I love the X-men. I grew up with these characters. If they go away, so does my business.

There’s a reason why they aren’t popular in the comics.
